Music Lab

Mason's School of Music offers the most advanced and up to date music labs in Leon and Gadsden counties. Students of all ages and instruments follow guidelines set up by the Florida State Music Teachers Association, and through computer games, activities and worksheets, work to achieve the goals in each of the fourteen levels. Some of the skills that students will work towards are in the areas of note reading, rhythm, scales, key signatures, terms and aural training. Music Lab is a 30 minute class and is typically taken in conjuction with private or group lessons, usually before or after the lesson. Music Lab is not required, however, we recommend all students take it to help them understand these important aspects of music which will help make them better musicians.

Cost:

$25 per month to add to any private or group lesson
